Ceiling Height: the maximum adjustable vertical height that the drone can fly to within the allowable working area. Set the maximum allowed altitude your Skydio 2 will be able to ascend when flying in controlled or restricted airspace, to maintain regulatory guidelines or visual line of sight.
Vertical drift, wind can affect the actual altitude.
Default - 8 ft (2.4 m) above the ground when flying autonomously
Customize - adjust the ceiling height to between 30 and 1500 ft
Disable - the maximum allowed flight altitude
Under14 Code of Federal Regulation (CFR) Part 107 of the Federal Aviation Administration’s rule you are allowed to fly 400 feet above the top of the tallest structure within a 400-foot radius of your operation. The Height Ceiling setting ensures that you remain in compliance flying in controlled airspace when inspecting tall structures.
