To assist our support team and better troubleshoot any issues or questions you may have, we may require you to send logs or other data from your Skydio 2 to customer support.

Skydio 2 Flight Log Upload

If you were flying your Skydio 2 (with or without the Controller or Beacon) and experienced an issue, we may need to collect the flight logs from your drone to aid in troubleshooting.

To access and upload the log from your flight:

  1. Open the Skydio 2 app and connect to the Skydio WiFi network
  2. Select INFO
  3. Select Flight Logs
  4. Select Upload Single Flight
  5. Select your most recent Skydio 2 flight (or one that best illustrates the issue)
  6. Follow the prompts
      • select Can't access Skydio 2 If you are unable to connect
      • if you were flying with the Beacon follow the same upload instructions while connected to Beacon Wifi 
  7. Select Upload over Wifi or Cellular if you don’t have access to Wifi
  •

Depending on the issue, our team may also ask for your phone logs. To upload your phone logs, follow steps 1-3 above, then tap Upload All Phone Logs

Beacon Flight Log Upload

If you were flying with your Beacon and experienced an issue, we will likely need to collect the flight logs from your Beacon to aid in troubleshooting. Please follow these instructions:

  1. Power on the Beacon.
  2. Open up the Skydio 2 app and connect to the Beacon WiFi network. The network name and password are located on a sticker on the backside of the Beacon.
  3. Tap Info (in the lower right corner of the app).
  4. Tap Flight Logs.
  5. Tap Upload Single Flight. This should show you available flight logs and prompt the Beacon to begin downloading flight logs to the app.

Note: iOS users will have to leave the Skydio 2 app and connect to an available WiFi network to complete the upload process for any flight logs. Optionally, you can choose to upload over your cellular network if no WiFi network is available.

Please note, we may need to review your videos and/or flight data to help us determine the root cause of any issues you've experienced (if you have any objection to this, please let the support team know). We will never review your videos or data without your permission.

Do not reformat or factory reset your Skydio drone prior to contacting our support team.
