The Skydio X10 spotlight attachment is a powerful tool designed to shine light over a targeted area to focus on specific points of interest when flying at night or in low-light conditions.

Safety

- After prolonged use of the spotlight attachment, it may be hot to the touch and could burn your hand. After landing, wait for your attachment to cool down before handling.
- Do not stare directly into the spotlight at any distance range for any period of time as it may cause serious eye injuries.
- When in flight, the spotlight can create a fire hazard by burning objects that are closer than a few inches away. Do not point the spotlight at any nearby objects.

How to install your spotlight attachment
[note] The drone may be powered on or powered off while installing the spotlight. [/note]
Step 1 - Choose the side of the drone on which you want to install the spotlight

Step 2 - Align the thumb screws on the spotlight to the threads on the side of the drone |

Step 3 - Twist the thumb screws clockwise to lock the attachment in place. Hand tighten until you meet resistance |

[note] Attachment should be snug but not overtightened. Skydio officially recommends 28 cNm of torque. [/note] |

Step 4 - Open the rubber seal on the USB-C attachment port and twist it downward

Step 5 - Plug in the spotlight cable with the cable pointing downward | |

Step 6 - Set the angle of your spotlight to suit the type of mission you will be flying

How to use your spotlight attachment
Once your spotlight attachment is installed, you will see a new spotlight Quick Action icon on the left side of your screen. Select this icon to turn the spotlight on or off in flight.
If you have Remote Flight Deck, you will also be able to control your spotlight when operating from a browser.
