Skydio X10D INTL & ATO: Cayley Hotfix v43.147.79 - 12 May 2026

This hotfix addresses critical bugs affecting flight reliability, hardware compatibility, and system stability for the Cayley 1 release. Key improvements include support for the Skydio Parachute on X10D and enhanced error handling to ensure safer, more robust operations.

[note]This hotfix only requires updating the vehicle. The controller does not need to be updated.[/note]

Hardware

The Skydio Parachute is now supported on X10D. This payload attachment is designed to help protect people on the ground in the extremely rare event that a Skydio X10 flight terminates outside of an intentional landing.

Reliability Improvements

• Parachute Improvements: This update addresses an issue in which the Parachute could deploy unexpectedly during flights while the drone was orbiting, including during the Orbit Flight Skill. Improves deployment logic to prevent unintended activations, ensuring more predictable behavior
• Attachment Connection Stability: Adjusts the timeout for detecting disconnected attachments, reducing the likelihood of false “not connected” states during setup or operations.
