In some situations, you may not want your Skydio X10D lights to be visible. Enabling Blackout Mode will turn off all visible and IR light sources on the vehicle, disable the light toggles, and dim the controller lights. Setting Blackout Mode will persist across flights and power cycles. 

[warning]Blackout Mode will turn off NightSense. Ensure that Blackout Mode is toggled off when using NightSense.[/warning]

Step 1 - Power on and pair your Skydio X10D and the controller

Step 2 - Select the Global Settings menu

Step 3 - Select the Lighting tab

Step 4 - Toggle on Blackout Mode

RGB, Infrared, and visible lights will be off when the power cycle and flight.

Step 7 (optional) - Toggle on Dim Controller Lights 

Step 8 (optional) - Select the Display menu and use the slider to dim the controller screen brightness
