You may experience an issue where you are unable to navigate past an Internet Connection Failed screen after having disconnected from WiFi or cellular data and then logging out or factory resetting.

Skydio has identified the issue and will provide a full fix in a future release. We recommend staying connected to WiFi and/or cellular data when logging out or conducting a factory reset. If the controller becomes stuck in the Internet Connection Failed state, you have two mitigation options:

Mitigation 1: Menu/Back Button

Press the Menu/Back Button up to 5 times in a row. If successful, you will no longer see the Internet Connection Failed screen, and you may proceed with your login.

If the issue persists, proceed to Mitigation 2. 

Mitigation 2: Controller Recovery Mode

Step 1 - Select WiFi Settings CS_X10_media_UI_wifi_issue1.png
Step 2 - Ensure you are connected to the desired WiFi network CS_X10_media_UI_wifi_issue3.png

Step 3 - Enter Controller Recovery Mode

  • Press and hold the Power button until you are prompted to power off
  • Press and hold the R1, R2, and Pause buttons simultaneously
  • Select Enter Recovery Mode

Step 4 - Exit recovery mode by selecting Exit Recovery Mode CS_X10_media_UI_recovery_mode3_rounded.png
Step 5 - You should now be able to sign in as normal CS_X10_media_UI_wifi_issue9.png
