This release enhances incident response and live stream management for users of DFR Command, Remote Ops, and Skydio Cloud:

Faster Incident Response

  • DFR Command adds a new Dispatch View to allow remote operators to see all incidents, drones, and personnel in a single view before choosing their drone, providing them a comprehensive operational picture for optimal drone selection and rapid response.
  • An update to Map Markers introduces Selected Markers, which highlights the incident or custom marker a remote pilot is responding to, both on the map and in AR overlays, aiding remote pilot orientation and reducing cognitive load.
  • An enhancement to AR Overlays adds a new hotkey functionality, allowing pilots to toggle between different overlay views, including options with or without house numbers, to suit various operational needs.

Improved Live Stream Management

  • ReadyLink updates enable viewers to directly switch between live streams without returning to the list or map first, enhancing situational awareness and reducing navigation time.

Better Integration Validation

  • Axon Evidence Integration improvements provide administrators with tools to validate the functionality of Axon integrations, ensuring reliable transfer of live streams and flight data to Axon systems.

This cloud release supports the following flight system firmware:

Configuration Release Version
Skydio X10 and X10 Controller 37.2.32 and higher
Skydio X10 and Remote Flight Deck 37.2.32 and higher
Skydio Dock for X10, Skydio External Radio, and Skydio X10 39.49.17 and higher
Skydio Dock for X2 27.10.109
Skydio Dock for S2/2+ 27.10.109
Skydio X10, Remote Flight Deck, and External Radio Not supported
Skydio X10, X10 Controller, and External Radio Not supported

Dispatch View for Faster Incident Response

The new Dispatch View in DFR Command provides a complete operational picture, allowing DFR pilots to easily view and access active incidents. Choose the most effective response option by quickly comparing drones based on battery level and distance to the incident.

Dispatch View can be integrated with CAD systems via the Markers API, allowing dispatchers to see and respond to live 911 incident data.

  • Within DFR Command, select Dispatch in the left sidebar
  • View all incidents, markers, drones, and Axon devices in a single operational map view
  • Select an incident directly from this view instead of navigating to the Fleet page first
  • Transition seamlessly into Remote Flight Deck (RFD) to begin the response

[note] Axon Body body cameras that are buffering will update their location every 15 minutes in the Dispatch map Personnel Tab. [/note]

Improved Incident Awareness with Selected Markers

Remote operators and DFR pilots now have persistent incident visibility when responding to a Call for Service (CFS) or selecting a Custom Marker. Once an incident is chosen, it now remains highlighted with AR overlays on the map, even when flying manually. This will help remote pilots with a persistent visual reference, enabling them to stay oriented while flying and searching around the scene.

  • Selected Markers stay visible throughout the mission, reducing cognitive load and helping remote pilots maintain orientation
  • Easily switch focus by deselecting a marker or choosing a new one when responding to a different incident

Faster Live Stream Switching in ReadyLink

Updates to ReadyLink streams make it easier to switch between live streams without missing critical details. Viewers can seamlessly navigate between multiple drone feeds, improving situational awareness and reducing time spent switching views.

  • While viewing a live stream, a list of other active streams will appear
  • Use the dropdown menu to switch between streams
  • Swipe between feeds on mobile devices

Previously, viewers had to exit the stream and navigate back to the list or map view to switch streams. Now, with faster stream navigation ReadyLink viewers can maintain real-time visibility across multiple drones without interruption.

Improved AR Overlay Controls

Remote pilots can now toggle AR Overlays more efficiently using the ‘O’ hotkey, which cycles through different levels of displayed information. This refined control makes it easier to adjust overlays in real time, improving situational awareness and ensuring remote operators can customize their view based on mission needs.

  • First press – Overlays ON, including house numbers
  • Second press – Overlays ON, without house numbers
  • Third press – Overlays OFF

Improved Setup and Status Visibility for Axon Evidence Integrations

Organization admins and pilots have better visibility into Axon Evidence integration status and media transfers, making it easier to confirm that live streams and flight data are successfully syncing with evidence.com.

  • Admins can validate integration health by refreshing the Axon Credential card in Axon Settings to check which features are enabled and confirm system status

Fixes

  • A misleading warning in Settings > Software has been removed.
    • Some users received a message prompting them to update controllers under both the Vehicle and Dock software sections, even though controllers are not compatible with Dock. This has now been corrected to prevent confusion.
