Platforms: Controllers/X10, Dock for X10
X10 Drones now automatically toggle on Low Light mode at dusk, based on local sunset time.
-
Low Light mode is automatically enabled Pre-Flight for any takeoff between civil dusk and civil dawn (sun 6° or more below the horizon).
-
Recording mode does not change while the drone is flying, so a flight that begins before dusk is not interrupted.
-
Pilots can still set the camera mode manually at any time from the camera settings.
-
On any subsequent flight Pre-Flight where the camera is in Low Light mode and takeoff is during the day (civil dawn to civil dusk), the camera switches to Standard mode.
[note]Automatic switching requires a GPS fix. A drone flying without GPS keeps whichever camera mode it already has.[/note]
