Update Details

This release focuses on enhancing Dock performance and operational efficiency.

Thermal Improvements for Dock Operation in Cold Weather

• Software update to improve Dock Thermoelectric Cooler performance in cold weather
• Also improves power management in cold weather even when 200v power or greater is not available
• 200v power is still required for operations below freezing

Enter Inspection Mode Post Flight

• Streamlines post-flight inspections
• Pilots can now enter Inspection Mode immediately after flight
• Pilots no longer need to exit Remote Flight Deck, wait for the Dock to close, re-enter Remote Flight Deck, then wait for the Dock to open in order to enter Inspection Mode

Dock for X10 Gen 2 Charger (Alpha)*

• Software and hardware upgrade for Skydio Dock for X10 that reduces the drone charge time by approximately 30% when ambient temperatures are 75 degrees Fahrenheit or lower
• Increases the max amperage at which Dock batteries can be charged from 12 Amps to 19 Amps
• Only available to select customers. Please reach out to your Skydio Account team to discuss availability of this or other Early Access programs

*Gen 2 Dock Charger functionality requires replacement of the Platform Board inside the Dock by Skydio personnel or a Skydio-authorized technician

Bug Fixes

• Fixes a rare issue that causes the Dock’s centering mechanism to stop responding until the system is rebooted
• Fixes an issue that causes External Radio software updates to fail
• Other minor fixes for rare issues with External Radio
