Battery Firmware Update

This update introduces battery firmware version 2.0.11, which improves battery hibernation behavior during extended storage. The firmware updates automatically when a battery is installed in the vehicle.

Automatic Low Light Camera Mode

Platforms: Controllers/X10, Dock for X10

X10 Drones now automatically toggle on Low Light mode at dusk, based on local sunset time.

  • Low Light mode is automatically enabled Pre-Flight for any takeoff between civil dusk and civil dawn (sun 6° or more below the horizon).

  • Recording mode does not change while the drone is flying, so a flight that begins before dusk is not interrupted.

  • Pilots can still set the camera mode manually at any time from the camera settings.

  • On any subsequent flight Pre-Flight where the camera is in Low Light mode and takeoff is during the day (civil dawn to civil dusk), the camera switches to Standard mode.

[note]Automatic switching requires a GPS fix. A drone flying without GPS keeps whichever camera mode it already has.[/note]

Fixes

  • Resolved an issue where radar-affected TDWR DFS channels appeared in the selectable channel list even though they were not operable

  • Resolved an issue where Map Capture blocked Terrain Follow missions when height above launch exceeded 1,500 ft

  • Improved handling of disconnected vehicles during airspace deconfliction

  • Improved video streaming reliability during long-range flights with the Fusion+ attachment in poor LTE conditions

  • Improved obstacle avoidance in scenes when navigation cameras encounter lens flare

  • Resolved an issue where Pathfinder produced incorrect flight paths or failed in areas with overlapping geofences

  • Resolved an issue with dock landings in low light conditions by applying the correct sensor package recording mode setting
