ENHANCEMENTS
Streamlined Network Switching
The interface that allows for switching between Connect SL and Connect 5G has been unified across the Gate Screen and Flight Screen, offering a more consistent experience.

New Telemetry Option: Active Radio Channel
A new status has been added as an option for the telemetry bar, which displays the active radio channel in real-time. This addition provides you with immediate access to channel information for improved radio frequency management during flights.
- Navigate to Global Settings > Display > Telemetry
FIXES
X10 Update Failures
We discovered a driver error that had the potential to cause mismatched internal CPU version numbers, leading to an increase in the rate of update failures. The issue has been resolved.
- Improvements include a streamlined update process, enhanced error visibility, and refined reporting capabilities to provide faster root-cause analysis
- This update significantly reduces software update failures encountered in prior releases
Missing Telemetry Logs in Cloud
In rare cases, certain telemetry and flight logs may not have been recorded or uploaded to Skydio Cloud. The issue has been resolved to ensure all relevant logs are preserved and properly associated with each flight.
Improved Handling of Short-Range Connection Stability
Updates to the Adaptive Noise Immunity (ANI) mechanism now provide faster responses to minimize short-range wireless disconnections and reduce interference shortly after launching. Previous delays in ANI adjustments could result in up to 30 seconds of exposure to interference. With this release, ANI settings now respond more quickly at launch, improving connection stability for flights rapidly moving away from the controller.
Auto DFS Persistence
An issue where the Auto DFS (Dynamic Frequency Selection) setting did not persist after rebooting has been resolved.
- Previously, if Auto DFS was selected, the drone defaulted to channel 36 upon restart, leading to suboptimal channel selection and an increased risk of short-range disconnects
- The DFS setting now reliably persists across reboots
Resolved File System Corruption Issues
Addresses an issue where file system corruption in storage could lead to various errors, such as sensor incompatibility, failure to switch to 3D Scan mode, and cloud configuration issues. This update improves storage integrity to prevent disruptions and ensure smoother operation.
Enhanced ESC Tuning for Obstruction Management
Updates to the motors' Electronic Speed Control (ESC) tuning improve drone stability and reliability when contacting minor obstructions, such as leaves. This enhancement ensures propellers maintain smooth operation during flight.
Other Fixes
- Improvements to ReadyLink enhance video stream stability, and under-the-hood updates increase overall stream reliability
- Improved time and date accuracy on X10 in GPS-denied environments to prevent stale timestamps
- Updates to Auto White Balance in 3D Scan allows for more consistent color depictions
- Added the ability to use spaces and other previously unsupported characters when naming audio files for use with the Speaker and Mic attachment
- Miscellaneous UI improvements
