What devices work with the Skydio app and Controller?

The devices listed on this page have been tested by Skydio and determined to either be compatible or not compatible with our app and controller.
- Skydio Android app version requires Android 10 or higher
- Skysio iOS app version requires iOS 14 or higher
[note] If flying a Skydio drone that has Remote ID enabled, to be FAA compliant your mobile device must use GPS with SBAS (WAAS) for location services, or have integrated GNSS, and it must be operated in a way that does not interfere with the location reported and its correlation to the operator location (do not disable location services). Check with your device manufacturer to confirm which location service it uses. [/note]
Recommended Devices
Minimum storage required for all devices: ~500mb
[note] These devices have been tested and confirmed to work with Skydio, but not all devices are WAAS enabled or have integrated GNSS. Ensure your device is FAA-compliant if flying with a Remote ID-enabled drone. [/note]

Not Recommended Devices
- If your device has features such as beveled edges, it may not be compatible with the Skydio Controller. To confirm if your device is compatible, refer to the technical specifications of the PARROT Skycontroller 3.
- iPads using Apple M2 chips have not yet been tested with the Skydio Controller.
- We do not support folding devices or devices with screen ratio changes (e.g. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3).

If your device is not listed above, it may work with our apps and controller if it meets the following minimum requirements (though compatibility is not guaranteed):
iOS
- Check the App Store for compatibility with your specific device.
- Device must be running 64-bit iOS 14 (or higher)
- iPhone 6 (or higher), iPad Air (or higher), iPad Mini 2 (or higher)
- Minimum space on device: ~500mb
Android
- Check Google Play for compatibility with your specific device.
- Device must be running Android 10 (or higher)
- Minimum space on device: ~500mb
