Overview

Click-To-Focus allows remote pilots to easily adjust focus and exposure for a specific area within the drone's field of view. This can be helpful when:

  • Viewing and recording of incidents in challenging lighting and wind conditions

  • Adjusting focus and exposure to read text or improve visibility while subject tracking

  • Improving visibility and detail for far away objects, without needing to manually adjust focus and exposure

Using Click-To-Focus

To use Click-To-Focus, do the following:

  1. Press and hold the F key. The cursor changes to indicate focus mode.

  2. Click on the area to adjust. The camera automatically adjusts the focus and exposure of the image at that position.

  3. Release the F key exits focus mode. To reset focus and exposure, press the F key again.

[note]Moving the gimbal more than 5 degrees or moving the drone more than two meters will cause the camera focus to reset.[/note]

To lock focus and exposure on a selected area:

  1. Press and hold the F key. The cursor changes to a box indicating the focus area.

  2. Click and hold for one second to display and lock the focus box. AE/AF LOCK is displayed at the top of the screen to indicate that the focus is locked.
