How to update your drone using Skydio Cloud

Skydio Media Sync offers seamless transfer and management of updates, images, videos, and 3D Scans uploaded to Skydio Cloud over WiFi or Ethernet.

Step 1 - Set up Media Sync in Skydio Cloud. Visit How to use Media Sync in Skydio Cloud for detailed instructions.

  • Ensure that you have added a network to Skydio Cloud
  • Ensure that you have synced your Skydio Cloud features to your controlling device

Step 2 - Select the Fleet Manager view 

  • A message will alert you if there is an update available for your X2, X10, S2/2+ drone
 Cloud

Step 3 - Plug your drone into power 

Step 4 - Power on and pair your drone and controller

Step 5 - Select Start Update

  • Your drone update will begin automatically

To update the controller:

Step 6 - On  your Skydio controller, select the Information/INFO menu

Step 7 - Scroll down and select Controller Update
