How to tell the difference between Beacon and Beacon+

To determine whether your Beacon is a first generation Beacon or the Beacon+, locate the serial number on the back of your device.

  • Beacon2P-1234 means your device is the Beacon+
  • Beacon-1234 means your device is the original Beacon
