Routine preflight maintenance should include an inspection of the arm clamps as they may loosen over time. This process involves loosening and tightening the tension bolts using the torque driver included with your X2E.

Quick Steps

To loosen and tighten the tension bolts:

Step 1 - Release the arm clamp open_clamp_X2.png

Step 2 - Lift the motor arm out and away from the body

    • until they are fully extended

Step 3 - Return motor arm clamps to the locked position

    • ensuring that the blue marks align

Step 4 - Loosen the tension bolt set screw

    • using the torque driver

Step 5 - Tighten the tension bolt

    • using the torque driver
    • turn the driver clockwise until you hear a click

Step 6 - Tighten the set screw

    • using the torque driver
    • turn the driver clockwise until you hear a click

Step 7 - Repeat Steps 1-4 with remaining arm clamps
