After you have completed a Map Capture, you have the option to save your scan to the Scan Library. Select the checkbox that says Save to Scan Library to save the specific scan settings and location to your Scan Library.

  • Saved scans will automatically appear in the Scan Library.
    • Once your drone is connected and in 3D Scan mode, you can review and repeat the scan
  • Exporting allows you to backup and save a scan as a .mission file on your mobile device, Skydio Enterprise Controller or external flash drive.
  • Importing .mission files is supported

[note]Saving and repeating a scan is only available in the Map Capture mode. Map Capture was previously named 2D GPS Capture. [/note]

[tip] If your goal is to scan an area in regular intervals and overlay the scans (e.g. tracking the progress of a construction site), we recommend using Ground Control Points (GCP). The use of GCPs helps match the drone location data to the terrestrially-measured location data. [/tip]

Step 1 - Open the Scan Library

Navigate to the INFO tab and select Scan Library under Maps.
