Latest News

The Skydio software ecosystem was updated on February 7th - make sure your customers are aware of the latest improvements and optimizations by sharing these resources:

Did you know?

Skydio is Remote ID Compliant

All new Skydio drones produced on or after September 16th, 2022, per FAA guidelines, have Standard Remote ID built in.

  • Skydio drones produced before September 16, 2022, are not impacted by this change and will not be required to broadcast a Remote ID until September 16, 2023. Skydio is working to determine the best path for Remote ID compliance and plans to enable compliance via a simple software update.

  • Our customers are our top priority, and we are committed to helping every Skydio pilot comply with the law. In the coming months, we will share more details for customers with non-Remote ID-enabled drones.

  • See this customer-facing support article for more details: What is Remote ID, and how does Skydio have you covered?
